My name is Liam. I am clinically diagnosed with D.I.D, and I made this site mostly because of it.
I use Simply Plural to track my switches, and I like it's design, but it's a little too focused on privacy. I wanted to use Simply Plural to show people who all my alters are, but to do that in the app you have to add them as a friend and add everything into a privacy bucket, when I honestly want strangers to know who all the alters are.
Luckily, Simply Plural has an API which allows you to get info from Simply Pural in a third party app. Using a backend written in rust connected to that API, I then, essentially, ported my Simply Plural page to the alters page in this website. And it only costs $5/month for CORS support in neocities (completely worth it).
That is what this website was made to do, but I will most likely add more when I have more to show. I also want to make a full tutorial on how to do this at some point, because I haven't seen anyone else do this, but for now you can figure it out on your own like I did.
